This one took different people to different places. Some had honey glazed gammon with French Dijon mustard, others had lime marmalade on toast, plum candied fruit gelee from Umbria Italy and Russian pickled watermelons whilst others found themselves in a hawker centre in Singapore. The taste neat was big, bouncy and beautiful; heather honey fudge, lightly toasted marshmallows, lemon cheese cake, creamy chicken soup and yes, we were back queuing at many different stalls in the Asian food market. A drop of water and the wok released hot oily aromas as Teriyaki chicken with clear honey, sesame oil and soy sauce was being prepared.
