The panel drifted off on holiday under canvas, they pitched their tent by the beach and collected sun bleached plastic buckets of pebbles. Fresh, clean aromas of Pears soap mingled with damp woollen socks and wellies. Hot dogs with choucroute, smoked salmon on brown bread, malty porridge and toasted marshmallow all made the panel smile wistfully. A ‘schmoor’ of rain brought out lanolin and pork belly with fennel and chicory. It had a soothing and comforting character like pine smouldering on the campfire the following morning. The finish was tooth coating with mackerel with watercress and rocket salad.
