Tasting Notes. Aged: 15yrs. Description: I love Glengoyne at this age - the cask and the whisky are perfectly balanced. There is plenty of sweet fruit and rich oak. It is pale, straw in colour, with rich sweet aromas, full fruit flavours and a long dry finish. This is certainly no April fool! Wood Type: American Oak Sherry Butt. Cask No.: 1083. No. of Bottles: 693. Strength: 70cl 57%. Distillation Date: 1st April 1991. Bottling Date: August 2006. Approved By: James Leslie.
