Bowmore Queen’s Cask bottled in 2002. A very exclusive bottling of 648 this bottling was intended for use by Her Majesty the Queen to be given to members of her staff and visiting dignitaries during her Golden Jubilee year.The whisky came from a cask, which was gifted, to Her Majesty during her visit to Bowmore Distillery in 1980; this is the only distillery Her Majesty has visited in an official capacity. Permission was given for one bottle to be auctioned in aid of ‘Children’s Hospice Association Scotland’ and one bottle to be held here at Morrison Bowmore Distillers in our Archives.
